Mister, can you spare a dime – or a minute?

No, I’m not asking for a handout, but if anyone can tell me how to make a day 28 hours long, I’d love to hear it.

I got a complaint tonight that I hadn’t posted anything interesting at Desert Musings for awhile. 😉 The problem is that my time is now taken up by my work and by my family. We are four now. Two adults driving around two teen-aged boys. One biological, one on loan. The one on loan is an exchange student who is living with us for the school year. Between band and basketball, (and girls) we’re busy just about every night of the week. What this means is that I have no time to write. Sure, I may have time to relax during the evening, but I can’t write when people are about.

Sooooooooooo… I have no idea when I will have something new for you all. It may finally be something original. I have several ideas floating around my brain (when it has time to think) including a couple of fantasy stories.

Happy now, oh anonymous nagger?

The lost writings…

I’ve heard through the grapevine that the posting board I favored, and was a moderator for, is most likely beyond resurrection. With this sad news comes the search for stories only posted there. I have a few short stories and drabbles that fall into that category.

When I started this website a year ago, I sifted through my work and decided what I wished to have at Desert Musings. I did not post everything I’ve ever written. I decided that some things should not be here. That conviction remains as strong today as it did then. In other words, I will not be re-posting them here, or at any JAFF board.

If you have a couple of those goodies saved on your computer, enjoy them. I do ask, however, that they stay on your hard drive. I do NOT, I repeat, do not grant permission to disseminate to others any story that was posted at that now defunct board that is not already posted here.

However, I am making the PDF of To Heir is Human, To Marry is Another Story by The Six Pack available for download here. It’s already on Jack’s site, AU and MRR. Since I’m one of the writers, I decided to put it here as well. Unfortunately, because of the rating I have to password protect the page with the download button. The password is the same as the others. If you do not have it, please email me and I will be happy to send it to you provided you are old enough. 😉

Temporary closing

I’ve had to take No More Tears off the market. I was informed of a rather humorous find/replace error in the text that occurred too many times to ignore. Needless to say, if you’ve ordered the book, you have the now infamous “c” version. The new version is the “s” edition. You’ll understand why if you find the error. My DH tells me there is at least one other typo. Oh well, at least this means he’s read my book! Anyway, I should have the book back for sale in the next few days. I just need to get the okay from Createspace.

The updated PDF is now available. Cheers!
